Vaughn's Art

I helped Vaughn with his homework over winter break by writing the sentence he said. He asked me to write, "We saw Santa Claus when we were awake. He brought us more presents when we were asleep." Then he drew and colored the picture. 

I don't know how well it shows in the picture, but he and Autumn are frowning. I ask, "What's up with the frowns?" and he replies, "Well, we were scared of Santa at first." Art imitating life. So honest. Love it.
